Our Work Space

​One of our schools art class rooms is where all the work we have been conducting over the past months, has taken place. We have been working on this project for what feels like a short amount of time, but in reality has been months of work. The way we do our work is through a series of meetings, which involves many open discussions to come up with ideas for Girls Build LA projects. We originally started out as a group of 6 to 8 or so girls, all in the eighth grade. We then began to recruit girls that we thought were up to the task and had enthusiasm to join the team. Our team is currently working through the process of creating our website and social media accounts, everything we do will be regularly updated on both. We are working extraordinarily hard to complete this process and finally begin all of our many projects and events that are awaiting us.
